Garden Club

The Garden Club is a unique and thriving community of residents dedicated to cultivating an organic neighborhood garden. As one of the few communities with its own garden, members take pride in planting and managing their individual plots, all within a set of guidelines that ensure a healthy and beautiful shared space. Gardeners are encouraged to plant what they like while committing to weekly maintenance of their plots and keeping the surrounding area clear of gravel and weeds. It’s a wonderful way for residents to connect with nature, enjoy fresh produce, and bond with fellow garden enthusiasts.

Chatty Crafters Club

The Chatty Crafters Club invites crafters of all skill levels—beginners, intermediates, and experts—to come together for a fun and social crafting experience. Whether you have a project you’ve been meaning to finish or want to start something new like knitting, painting, sewing, or jewelry making, this is the perfect place to get creative. While the group doesn’t offer formal teaching, members are always happy to help with advice and share resources. The group meets every Thursday afternoon at the Internet Café from 1:30 to 3:30, providing a relaxed atmosphere for crafting, chatting, and making new friends. Bring your supplies, ideas, and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow crafters!

Water Aerobics Club

The Winding Cypress Water Aerobics Club is a group of enthusiastic women and men of all ages and fitness levels that get together up to six days a week offering a fun way to get a great workout and meet new friends! Water Aerobics allows you to meet your fitness goals with less stress on joints and muscles. Classes incorporate cardio and strength training using water weights.

Cards & Games Club

Winding Cypress is home to a lively community of card and game enthusiasts. Whether you’re into Samba, Hand-Foot-Elbow, Bunco, Mahjong, or Poker, there’s always a game to join. From seasoned players to those just starting out, everyone is welcome—teachers are available for beginners too! No matter your skill level, there’s a friendly group of players ready to share laughs and enjoy some fun, most days of the week. Come for the games, stay for the camaraderie!
