Winding Cypress Weekly Community Update

Good afternoon Winding Cypress residents,

I wanted to provide you with a brief weekly update ahead of the weekend.

The next Board of Directors Meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 19th. The Budget Approval Meeting will be held first starting at 2pm in the Event Room and the November Board of Directors Meeting will immediately follow starting at 3pm. All meeting information is located under Owner Documents.

The Winding Cypress Community Development District’s attorney has drafted a letter they would like circulated to the community. Please Click Here to view this letter to the association regarding stormwater management. You can find more information regarding the CDD on our website under Community Info & Links then select Tools.

WC upcoming Events and Activities will be communicated on Wednesdays each week moving forward. All Events are listed on the community calendar and the Events Page.

Brightview was able to complete the mowing cycle for this week. They will be mowing next week but not the week of Thanksgiving. Crews pruned at the Clubhouse, main entrance, and started in Phase 3. Brightview has reported an irrigation mainline break along the main entrance drive that should be repaired on Monday. The Agronomy team continues to treat weeds and fertilize.

  • Michael Patterson, Brightview Manager, will be available to meet with homeowners at the Clubhouse on Thursday, November 21st, from 8am to 10am, for any landscaping questions, comments, and/or concerns you may have.
  • Please utilize the Brightview Portal for any landscaping or irrigation issues, even if you do speak with Michael about your specific property issue or request.
  • The Brightview Portal can now be found under Community Info & Links Tab then select Landscaping.

The Compliance Committee is beginning inspections of homes in Phase 2 for any items not in compliance with the Winding Cypress Rules and Regulations, such as dirty roofs, exterior painting, etc. The Rules and Regulations, can be found under Owner Documents.

  • As a friendly reminder, Golf Carts may only be driven on the streets and may not be driven on sidewalks, grass, or pathways.
  • Drivers under 18 must be at least 15 years old with a learner’s permit, or 16 with a driver’s license, to drive a golf cart. If you’re 18 and older, you must have valid government-issued identification. Per Florida law – effective July 1, 2023

The next ARC Committee meeting will be held on Monday, November 18th at 9am in the Event Room.

The next proposed BOD Meeting dates are: January 21st @ 6pm, February 18th @ 2pm, and March 18th @ 6pm. (These dates are subject to change.)
