I wanted to provide you with a brief weekly update ahead of the weekend.
The next Board of Directors Meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 19th. The Budget Approval Meeting will be held first starting at 2pm in the Event Room and then the November Board of Directors Meeting will immediately follow starting at 3pm. To review the 2025 draft budget information online and obtain the zoom information for these meetings please visit the community calendar.
At the end of the year, we will no longer be utilizing Constant Contact to send out communications to the community. All information will be sent out through our new website, which you will need to be registered on to view.
On Monday, November 11, 2024, we will be transitioning to the virtual guard station located at the front entry gate. There will no longer be an overnight guard beginning at 11pm on Monday evening until 7am the following morning and continuing each night thereafter. Your guests will be expected to utilize the virtual guard station to gain access into the community during these hours. Please CLICK HERE to review instructions on how to use the virtual guard station. Make sure to either send your guests a guest pass, which is offered when they are input on your guest list, or place your guests on your guest list so that they can successfully enter the community during this time. You can do this through GateAccess.net or by calling (239) 880-3180.

· Shady Palm Ripped Screen – This screen was damaged by Hurricane Helene and promptly taken down for replacement. The replacement screen has been fabricated and will be installed on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, in the morning.
In an effort to streamline our processes, announcements for WC upcoming Events and Activities will be communicated on Wednesdays each week moving forward. All Events are listed on the community calendar and the Events Page.
Brightview was able to complete the pruning cycle in Phase 2 this week, and will be pruning at the Club House this coming Monday then moving to the homes in Phase 3. Our mowing service will resume for the next 2 weeks. The Agronomy team will be in the community today and tomorrow continuing to treat weeds in the turf and applying fertilizer to the turf.
· Michael Patterson, Brightview Manager, will be available to meet with homeowners at the Clubhouse on Thursday, November 21st, from 8am to 10am, for any landscaping questions, comments, and/or concerns you may have.
· Please utilize the Brightview Portal for any landscaping or irrigation issues, even if you do speak with Michael about your specific property issue or request. The Brightview Portal is located under the Community Info & Links tab under Landscaping.
· You can download Brightview’s November Calendar here, as well as view it on their portal. The November Calendar will be uploaded in the portal as soon as it is completed.
The Compliance Committee is beginning inspections of homes in Phase 2 for any items not in compliance with the Winding Cypress Rules and Regulations, such as dirty roofs, exterior painting, etc. Click Here to view the Rules and Regulations, which can also be found under Owner Documents.
· As a friendly reminder, Golf Carts may only be driven on the streets and may not be driven on sidewalks, grass, or pathways.
The next ARC Committee meeting will be held on Monday, November 18th at 9am in the Event Room.
The next proposed BOD Meeting dates are: January 21st @ 6pm, February 18th @ 2pm, and March 18th @ 6pm. (These dates are subject to change.)
